1. The service

COSMOS.ROCKS provides a free, demonstration chat interface to open language models, and distributes Core9, a desktop assistant application. The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.

2. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, to generate content that harms others, to attack our infrastructure, or to attempt to obtain another person's data. We rate-limit and may block abusive use.

3. AI output

Model output can be wrong, incomplete or biased. It is not professional advice. Verify anything important before relying on it.

4. Your content

You keep any rights you have in the messages you send. You grant us only the permission needed to process them to produce a reply. Core9 runs on your own machine, under your own model-provider key.

5. Open source

Core9 is open-source software distributed under its own licence, included with the download. Where these terms conflict with that licence in respect of the software, the licence governs.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
